Need help with Maths or Physics?
I'm a friendly and engaging teacher of Maths and Physics at A-level, with 7 years' experience in the classroom at Anglia Ruskin College and Anglia Ruskin University.

I also have several years' experience as a private tutor, working with students at GCSE and A-level across a wide spectrum of abilities. I've helped students finesse their grades from A to A*, and have raised a student from a D to a B in 6 months.

I am a senior examiner for a major exam board and have worked for 11 years as an examiner on their AS-level Physics paper. My role has grown from marking, to supervising other examiners and now I set exams too!
My Background
I studied engineering at the University of Cambridge, specialising in manufacturing and graduating in 2008 with a BA MEng.

I have subsequently spent almost a decade teaching, examining and tutoring students from GCSE to undergraduate both in the classroom and as a private tutor.

I tutor maths and physics, specialising in GCSE and A-level, but am happy to help with your studies whatever the level.
I've got particular experience helping adult students with numerical skills, so if you've been out of study for a while or you're struggling with a university course having skipped a subject at A-level I'd love to hear from you.
My Style
I have a laid-back and conversational style- sessions with me are informal and I encourage discussion and questioning.
Rather than just tell you the correct answer, I'll ask you the right questions to lead you to find the answer yourself. This helps you to build connections yourself that will last much longer than any answers I tell you!
